Rude and inattentive Is Edward D. working for Heath? The other posts are more accurate--Heath is completely inattentive and rude. My girlfriend's apartment had a rodent problem that was never taken care of. The landlord would send a maintenance man to patch holes in the wall but the mice returned. Got so bad they had to call the city inspector. Heat was off for almost an entire week in the heart of winter and they had to fight to even get a few dollars off the rent. Rent a tent instead!!! These people are awful. Their response to fixing things has always been a hassle. It culminated about two months before my lease ended, when they took 3 weeks to respond to leak in my ceiling. Unfortunately, it was AFTER an estimated 30 GALLONS of toilet water came down and totally everything of value to me. I have had to take them to court over this non-sense. Heath Properties Heath Properties is in my opinion a very subpar realty company in Boston. Living in one of their units going on a little over a year has been anything but a joy. In the winter, you begin to notice how poorly the windows are sealed due to the overwhelming cold. Between seasons, they turn off the heat too early. When it rains, the bottom floor floods and it takes them a while to respond. Also, don't plan on doing your laundry in the building because the washers don't wash and the dryers don't dry. Great place to rent from Heath properties has served me very well considering it was my first time renting out an apartment. My lease ends at the end of this month and so far I have been pleased with their service without any complaints. Since the economy has been so bad, it has been hard for me to pay my rent on time and they have been very understanding and did their best to help me get through on my rent. I had a great overall experience with them and would definitely rent with them again.
DONT EVER RENT THROUGH HEATH PROPERTIES These people are unjustifiably rude and impossible to deal with. If you present them with an issue, such as mice or a broken stove, they find a way to blame it on you and take forever to fix the problem. They've sent me and my roommates harassing letters regarding issues that weren't there. Anytime I would confront them with something they would be extremely rude. Company or Robber? Wake up, students! They ripped off students and are the most disgusting people I've ever seen in my life. All they do is to collect your money and cause you many headaches. Heath Properties THIS MANAGEMENT COMPANY IS THE ABSOLUTE WORST! They are fraudulent & rude & completely lack morals. Good luck getting your security deposit back (a full month's rent), not only will they not explain why they charge you all of this money but they ignore your call all together. Also, the entire bottom floor flooded from "mystery causes" which were never explained and they failed to take responsibility for the hundreds of dollars of damaged personal property.
This experience renting from health properties was horrible. Extremely hostile toward their tenants. We lived with a broken toilet for three weeks which is illegal. Charged fees for reasons that were not in our lease agreement. The main person in charge (I think his name is Elijah) spoke to me in a super derogatory way that was honestly very hurtful. A horrible experience please do not lease from them. If I could give a 0 as a rating I would.
Read google reviews. They have a track recorded for scamming people out of their security deposits. Have horrible maintenance regiments in place and are highly unprofessional. The property manager is negligent and nasty to say the least. Highly discourage anyone from working with these criminals!
