Had my hair cut by Malissa and she’s amazing! Precise, communicative, and she totally understood all my abstract explanations. My hair is long, textured, and can be hard to manage, and she did such a beautiful job with it! Also the atmosphere in the salon is really lovely.

I’ve been seeing Malissa for a couple of years now after someone destroyed my hair and colour. She was so patient and kind dealing with a new & emotional client. She created a multi-stage colour correction plan and had me feeling like myself again in a few months. Her professionalism, colour expertise & hair wizardry absolutely saved me and I’ll be forever grateful! I highly recommend Malissa as a skilled colourist and all round great person!

New to Victoria and recently tried out heartwood and co. I went there asking for a trim and some touch up highlights. Although the colour was nicely done, the haircut was not. Emily was the stylist and my hair was uneven and chopped up on the ends. When I called the salon to let them know, they did fit me in the next day to fix it with Cassandra (complimentary) and she did a great job however I did have to leave the salon with shorter hair than what I asked for and it costed me 300 dollars! This was my first time getting my hair fully professionally coloured and I am so insanely happy with it! Laura-Ashley made me feel so comfortable throughout the whole process- she took the time to make sure she knew exactly what I wanted and gave me a quote before we began so that there were no surprises:). Her work is incredible- I was in the salon for the whole day, and she was so meticulous with everything she did with my hair.
