A great service for families to continue receiving support following hospitalization! I've had families in the hospital ask me if I provide child life services outside of the hospital and I'm so excited to have Hearts Connected as a resource to refer them to!
Carissa consulted with us virtually before my daughter’s surgery. Her professionalism while still embodying the silliness and relatability of a child is unmatchable. My daughter was extremely nervous before our consultation. By the day of surgery, she was telling everyone in the OR room exactly what would happen because her “friend Carissa” had taught her. I had no idea how underprepared my child was until Carissa fully prepared her. Extremely grateful for this organization
