Terrible customer service. I ordered $300 in vaccines. Options were next day shipping via Fed Ex for over $40 or 2-day shipping via Fed Ex for $30. I picked the $30 shipping. Nebraska to Wisconsin is a normal 2-day shipping route and its winter. The vaccines should never have been exposed to warn weather conditions. They shipped early on a Tuesday. Unfortunately, Fed Ex first routed my order to Indiana, then misrouted my package to Tennessee. It sat in Tennessee for an entire day before Fex Ex decided to route it north. It ... read more

Very rude customer service. I ordered 2 bottles of orbax and they called my vet to get the prescription authorized. The vet wouldn't approve because they won't deal with Heartland so the vet had to give me a written prescription. Then heartland put a note on my account that a coupon code I used which was provided on their site caused more to be taken off the cost then it should have. Their mistake. The reason they get only one star, that is the lowest available. If I could give a negative star, I would. Ordered two items on April 5, 2020. Received confirmation of order the same day. Then nothing, no email or phone call, nothing. On April 21, 2020 I call to cancel the order and I am told by Amy that returns are not available for the item i ordered. I wish I had read these reviews before I ordered heart meds for my pup. I also had a bad experience trusting Heartland Vet Supply would send the my pups meds in a timely fashion. They didn't even care to let me know the meds were on back-order when they took my money. After almost two wasted weeks (waiting) I contacted them and asked about the meds. Only at that time they told me they were several weeks away from receiving stock. So upsetting and disappointing. Won't be ordering from them ever again.

Do not use this company! They deserve a ZERO rating. I used the online order to get my sick pet his prescription. It took them over two weeks to process the order! I had to go back to the vet to get another supply my poor baby couldn't wait anymore. HVS has the worst customer service. I ordered my dog's heart-worm medication from them since they had the cheapest price, but I will never order from them again. I was charged the wrong amount and it took over a month to get it refunded. I had to call them once a week to explain the story over and over to a different person each time. I also emailed the company a couple of times and got no response. I submitted an online order with Heartland over the weekend and received confirmation they received the order on Monday, 3/12/18 at 10:20 AM, also a pending charge of $407 for the 2 prescriptions on my credit card. On the morning of 3/14/18 I reviewed my order and it indicated not shipped. I then emailed Heartland at 7:33 AM and received an automated response saying I would receive a response within 24 hours. Rather than give a long, torrid recount of my experience, along with a scathing review, allow me to just state the facts.
