My background is in nursing so I knew about this hospice. I got them for my father-in-law. I couldn't have asked for a better experience. Now, my husband needs the service. My husband's routine nurse is excellent. Caring, smart and a great advocate for my husband. I choose the NP on staff for care. She's improved my husband's life significantly. I feel so good when they come. They've become family.
We were very pleased with Heartland Hospice. Keefe, our liason was very informative and thorough, and he made all the arrangements. Our nurse, Ashley, was very nice and our dad instantly liked her the moment she came to our home. Denise was the night nurse who helped us out a lot in the end. We couldn't be more pleased with the job they all did for us.
I really appreciate the care and support Heartland gave my Brother Steve. Heartland went above and beyond to assure Steve had everything he needed to be comfortable. The staff was available night and day. We could not have made it through this trying time without their help. Ashley, Yolanda, Tanya, Tina, Chris, Tracy, and Patrick we love you all Thank you so much.
The services provided for my brother during his final month were magnificent. He has used Heartland in March 2017 for his wife and asked specifically for the agency as he began his terminal decline. They really care for both their patient, but also the whole family. Thank you, so very much, for helping Steve die with dignity and in comfort.
My father and I want to express our deepest appreciation to the nurses (Deniece, Rob, Chris and Kelly) and home aid Yolanda (you rock!) for their care of my sister Lisa who was in hospice care for several weeks at home before passing peacefully. They always took time to check on our well-being, also, and explain the progression of my sister’s condition. You were our angels. God bless.
