Dr. Wallace performed a bi-femoral aortic bypass for Peripheral Artery Disease on me on May 1, 2013. Before the surgery I could barely walk to the mailbox. Now I can walk five miles a day. I am now a National Volunteer Spokeswoman for GoRedForWomen advocating for PAD. Dr.Wallace saved my life and limbs and I will be forever grateful!
Dr Wallace has kept me walking for several years when my legs should have been amputated. He has done many complicated surgeries on me. He is the best surgeon ever in my book. I have and will continue to recommend him to family and friends.
Dr Wallace performed surgery on me that I was told, by another physician, was unnecessary. This cost me three months wages ; I almost ended up losing my home due to inability to pay mortgage. He also kept me in a semi-ICU type unit costing the health insurance company more money. I think the nursing staff made a mistake with the drainage system connected to my chest which caused me to be in the hospital longer than necessary.
