My wife was in Northwest Hospital LA PORTE ICU. The doctor had a meeting with me and my daughter and explained that my wife needed to be on a ventilator and she would have to be on it for the rest of her life. I told the doctor know my wife does not want that. The doctor recommended that we get hospice.
