We were referred to Chris at Heart Springs Landscape Design by a friend who was both delighted and impressed by her work on their 1/8 acre yard here in Bend. Working with Chris was great! We were able to schedule her promptly and she perfectly captured what we wanted in our backyard design. Everything we had mentioned that was important to us or concerns we had were addressed. She drew up excellent designs for both the landscaping and the irrigation so that we could get accurate bids from installers. Our home built 10 years ago on ten acres of juniper tree desert space was never landscaped by the original owner. Chris’s plan that transformed our surroundings was a work of art. The hardscape and plantings not only complimented the architecture of the house but harmonized with the natural beauty of our site. She is an excellent architect and a joy to work with.

We worked with Chris, the owner of Heart Springs Landscape Design, to completely re-do the area around our new home. As purchased the house had very little landscape except for many ponderosa pines. Chris developed and revised the design with our input, specified all the new plantings and locations, and added some elevation changes and a dry creek. We needed a comprehensive landscape plan for our new home in Eagle Crest and were fortunate to select Chris, who exceeded our expectations in every regard. She met the Resort requirements, our preferences for low maintenance, water features, functional irrigation design, and semi-formal appearance. We were particularily impressed with his knowledge of landscape materials and plant selections. She was flexible and responsive to our requests.
