I am going to be brief and concise, I lived in one of there properties for about a year. Not enough time to significantly damage a unit. They decided to keep 70% of the security deposit to make improvements of damaged “unit” for the next show and tell. People take pictures, record, and track quality of the unit before moving in and moving out, because they will keep your money. Word of advice document, document and document.

Interesting mix of apartment property’s for viewing. When I went to view the apartment listing, the leasing agent was late and brought her daughter with her which was unprofessional. They sat on the furnished couch which is unprofessional and disgusting considering that would be your couch. They do schedule multiple people during your viewing. If I could give zero stars, I would. Dealing with Heart Property Management has been one of the most frustrating, disorganized, and flat-out incompetent rental experiences I have ever had. My roommate and I applied for a unit at 122 E 55th St in Long Beach, and everything fell apart from the start. Their website limits how many documents you can upload, so it is impossible to submit everything they require in the initial application. This group lacked professionalism, made my experience lack luster, and made sure to be on their phone when trying to have a face-to-face conversation regarding safety of a property. Just going to go buy a house now!
