My recent experience here was a great one. The receptionist is one of our neighbors and we love her. The nurse who took my blood was very good at it. I didn't feel a thing. Yay! Thank you!
Multiple people have complained about the wait times over the years yet nothing has changed. The hospital has responded to these complaints but has done nothing to address the issues. EDIT: I called with sudden hypertensive issues due to an infusion I received and was prescribed a medication the same day. It was called in after my pharmacy was closed but I am increasing my rating.
The wait times are really ridiculous. I have been waiting for two hours. If there is somewhere else to go, then go. Multiple people have complained about the wait times over the years yet nothing has changed. The hospital has responded to these complaints but has done nothing to address the issues.
No wonder they have a bad reputation. I had an angiogram and about a week after, started to experience severe pain. Went to ER. They found blood clots in the arm. Week later, pain persists and is worse. Dr. Nash prescribed blood thinners but would not see me to follow up and would not help with pain. I will definitely not see him again. I've lost the use of my arm, hopefully temporarily. Dr Nash and Arkansas Heart Hospital have terrible follow-up care. I wouldn't recommend them to anyone.
