The hearing aid I bought through Hearing Life was fine, but I have been relentlessly robocalled by them ever since. I have asked them twice to stop calling. They stop for a while, then resume these daily robo calls.

I cannot begin to express how disappointed I am in the Hearing **************** Center (a Hearing Life center) in ****** and *********, **. In October ***** my wife and I purchased expensive hearing aids. The contract on page 3 stated, After the trial period a member is allowed up to 3 visits within the first year at no cost. . We were told that this allowed us 3 free visits to tune up the hearing aids. In May of 2023 my wife and I want to have the hearing aids adjusted and checked. At the visit we were told there would be a... read more

They are very deceptive in their business practices and do not explain to the patient what their agreement is stating. Our insurance company is in network with The Hearing Life company. Our discount through the insurance company is thousands of dollars. They are asking you to sign a document in the office stating we are waiving any discounts through our insurance. Why would anyone willingly sign something to pay more money! You have many elderly customers that you are taking advantage of.

I am very upset with HearingLife for not verifying my insurance benefit directly, by telephone. The person only verified insurance online. I was lead to believe that my insurance would cover $2500 for each hearing aid. This did not happen. Insurance covered only $1933.49 of the $7500 charged. Now of course, HearingLife is requiring I pay the balance owed. If they would have done their due diligence and called my insurance, I would have known what my insurance would pay and would not have purchased these hearing aids. I would... read more

I am disturbed by a HearingLife commercial I just saw: The actor in a lab coat and accompanying text on the screen states: "We are requesting your participation in a special program called the 30-Day Risk-Free Challenge." This makes it sounds like they're doing a study of some sort, saying they are "seeking people with hearing difficulties to evaluate a new ... hearing aid," and stressing that "all hearing assessments are performed at no charge for those taking part in the challenge." HearingLife makes this seem like some so... read more

There False Motto is to "Help people hear better" but it so much further than the truth. They can care less if they help people hear better as long as there is a sale made. On some occasions I had to constantly bring up what I wasn't being paid for and still have not yet to be paid since I left. I was treated like complete garbage, UNDERPAID and was forced to do work that I wasn't paid for. I've emailed the *** and got no response. Now I have to email the attorney general's office because they are still advertising me as the... read more

I've done business with Hearinglife for approximately 10 years. My current hearing aids are 8 years old and out of date.I got a quote for new ones from Hearinglife and another local Audiologist. Hearinglifes price was approximately $3000.00 higher for the same exact hearing aids! So long Hearinglife!

The new marketing idea amongst the company is to promote HearingLife as a destination employer. Nothing could be further from the truth. It is a glorified telemarketer position with constant, daily emphasis on sales. Communication between upper management and/or departments is nonexistent. E-mail is the ONLY form of communication and if you need an answer regarding HR or Payroll issues you wait a minimum of 72 hours for a response, IF you get one. Payroll errors occur an average of every 8 weeks, with MAJOR issues ranging fr... read more
