Everything about this place was absolutely amazing. The family, the service and most definitely the food. Chef Jeff is absolutely amazing in the kitchen and his family is loving and welcoming. I highly recommend this restaurant if you're looking for something outside of the normal. I wish I could take this place back to Texas with me.
I have enjoyed each and every time I've gone here. Chef Jeff is very personable and wants to make sure everyone is pleased. The food is in a category all by itself. That category is scrumptious!
Our 5th day in NOLA. and the Superdome dish @ Heard Dat Kitchen was the most amazing so far! Put them on your must try list. We’ll be back next visit. Great staff. beautiful presentations, fine dining taste at local prices. Thank you all for great eating and wonderful service. We also enjoyed and appreciated the lagniappe of bread pudding! I love Heard Dat kitchen, and I go there every chance that I get because everything is OFF THE CHAIN. My favorite meal there is the bellpepper plate, yum, yum, yum! It comes with delicious potato salad and green peas.
So good! The blackened Fish was seasoned just right!!!

Very great service and excellent food. I saw an ad on Facebook and told my husband I wanted to support. The chef came out and personally introduced himself and checked to see if we were enjoying our meal. Will definitely return!! You ladies we very professional and caring.
