Great veterinary clinic in the Madison area that treats you and your pets like family. I've been a client for 8.5 years. I originally came for my rabbits since they specialize in small mammals, and I continue to come now with my dog and cats. The staff members at Healthy Pet are knowledgeable and caring, and I really do feel like family.
So thankful to have such a caring, knowledgeable, and friendly place to bring our bun! We recommend you to everyone we meet, no matter the type of animal! After reading so much about how hard it is to find a place that truly understands small animals, I feel so thankful to have you so close to our home.
I am thrilled to report that Gracie came through her Dental Cleaning and Extraction surgery today with flying colors. She had to have 1 root tooth way in the back extracted and 3 tiny ones just basically fell out during her extreme tooth cleaning. The before and after photos are amazing. That poor child sorely needed this done! Gracie is still a bit groggy and the meds/anesthetics are still wearing off tonight, but she has minty fresh breath and a clean bill of health! For a first time vet visit, they beyond exceeded my expectations. The staff was very friendly and helpful. Not only did they prescribe medication to my guinea pig they also gave me so much useful information and packets that a first time guinea pig owner needs. They took the time to answer any questions I had and I could tell everyone I talked to was generally enthusiastic about helping my pet. I would highly recommend to everyone.

I used to take my cats to Healthy Pet when they were in the old location. I would regularly board my cats there when I went on vacation. When I would call, the veterinarians were attentive and answered my questions about how my kitties were doing. After Healthy Pet relocated, I noticed a HUGE downward shift in service. When I would board my cats and call about how they were doing, the staff were terse, acting like I was bothering them.
