FAKE REVIEWS!!!!!! – I have noticed this company puts out lots of fake reviews! Pay attention to user names and phrases.....not just on this site because they do it on others too! It's sooooo wrong for a company to do that!
Pay for cooking classes without taking them! – I bought a gift certificate from Healthy Chef Creations for my boyfriend so that we could do a couples cooking class together. The classes claimed to be held the first Friday of every month but that is not the case. Every month they make a list of attendees and if they can't fill 8 spots, they don't hold a class. My review is both good and bad – Well my husband and I ordered the Healthy Chef Creations the last 3 weeks. We have one more week of food coming to us. The quality of the food is excellent and most of the meals are very delicious!! :-) However, the down side is that it's very expensive. Also we found the portions to be too small in a lot of the meals which force us to still buy more food on the outside. The other thing is that the food didnt' quite stay fresh the full week. ...pretty awesome – I have my food delivered to me in California. It arrives via FedEx. Being in California, I have tried a lot of meal delivery services that are local. Although they were decent...nothing really compares to the taste of Healthy Chef. I am sure it is combination of the organic foods they use just having a ton more flavor to start out with...and also that the recipies are pretty good also. The Pros: Organic. Great tasting. Fresh. HORRIBLE customer service. Food safety concerns. – Unbelievably bad service - no concern whatsoever about our delivery that arrived at an unsafe temperature due to improper packaging. Several comments the owner made had me questioning his knowledge of food safety (food could be kept in the 'danger zone' for 6 hours, all that is required to determine if food is safe is a sniff test, etc - I'm not kidding) He either is horribly uneducated when it comes to food storage/safety, or he lied to get out of refunding my money. Wow! What a great idea! – Wow! I had never expected to get the quality of a home delivered meal as I did with Healthy Chef Creations! I was so impressed! I travel in my job and just knowing that I can pick up the phone and place my order for the week and not have to cook, while knowing it is a gourmet meal, made fresh, not frozen, VERY healthy and ESPECIALLY for me... that's so worth it! I highly recommend Healthy Chef Creations! There's nothing better!
