I am a 73 yr. old caregiver for my husband, who is 83 and has Myasthenia and Parkinson's Disease. To help me, my daughter spent over $200.00 on a gift certificate from Healthy Chef Creations, who deliver meals. I went online to their site eight days ahead and ordered two meals to be delivered on Fri. 11/21, two on Fri. 11/28 and two on Fri. 12/5. This used to be a great company serving great food. Now it's garbage. I was a happy regular customer for three years, spending many thousands of dollars. But in December 2013 HCC changed its packaging -- now fresh meals arrive frozen and inedible in winter and hot and spoiled in summer. Menu item descriptions are no longer inaccurate. The (new?) general manager doesn't seem to give a damn about customers, customer service or the fact that his cooks are sending out raw chicken. I agree with Terri. I have been ordering 3 dinners a week for 3 months and am a bit bewildered by some of the negative posts. I have extremely limiting food restrictions so maybe my expectations are different than most. And I did have to get used to the idea of my expensive, organic dinner arriving in a plastic container and not belittling it to a frozen meal. I am so surprised to see some of the previous posts about taste. This is great food! I also think the portions are fine, but if you are doing a basic meal plan, you will need food outside of this because snacks aren't included. Ordering from the a la carte menu is great, but like other posts said, it's expensive. For me, the program is great because I love the food and the convenience of not having to cook after really long grueling work days. What a rip off!!!!! Very very small servings, very high delivery charges and no flavor what so ever......I could have opened a can grocery store food that taste better....again what a rip off!!!!!

I've been nothing but pleased with this company. I am an actual user and not someone paid to write reviews. I have been using their meals for 3 weeks now and the quality is as good as it gets. It may seem a little expensive but when you factor in the time and gas you spend on groceries and prep, I think it works out in the end. And while I am a good cook, I was raised to cook Southern style and am not as good at cooking healthy lower fat items. My family is enjoying this food immensely. Lori in NC

Beware! I also think the business posts fake reviews, but thats not surprising after finding a cliff bar re-packaged as something they made on their own!
