I've been trying to schedule an appointment for my wife who speak limited English for weeks now and every time I call, its like Russian roulette with my call getting dropped 4/5 times. When I finally do get through they transfer me all over the place just to ask me to leave a message at the end. I was able to schedule the first couple of appointments by myself with no problem and the people seem very nice as well. I came into this urgent care due to kidney problems and was seen by Nurse Practitioner Rachael Pickett. I requested a blood draw to check my kidney function. She flatly refused, telling me she “can’t do it” and “will not do it” because I do not have a primary doctor. I explained that I could set one up immediately with Health Partners, but I simply was looking to get blood work. It seems like wait times & wasting our time is a pattern at this clinic for internal medicine. Waited 20 minutes after my scheduled appointment to be called in before asking the front-desk staff if the doctor is behind schedule, the front-desk staff wasn’t aware of being behind schedule & messaged a nurse, who 10 minutes later would then come out & let me know the doctor was going to be another 30 minutes, which would mean I’d be waiting A WHOLE DAMN HOUR to be seen for my SCHEDULED appointment.
