Amazing team collaboration within the hospice team as well as with the facility team where the patient is located. Patient care is THE top priority and the staff work hard to really listen to what the patient and/or family wants. They want the patient to be comfortable and have a quality of life and they educate the family members throughout about what's happening and what to expect so that it's less scary. Many thanks to the wonderful staff during a very difficult time in our lives. Every need met with the utmost kindness and a team that truly cares about the patients and the families. Support doesn't end when a loved one passes, and this is what sets this team above the rest.
Care teams are more than fine, but your family member is nothing but dollars signs $$$ to this company. Poor management in place to understand needs or wants in the community they serve. Go with the solid established hospice organizations in the Colo Spgs Community.
Great care team members. Poor management and client care strategy by management. Not focusing on what the client wants and rather attempting to dictate what their needs are. They work great inside Brookdale Communities, but very poor in the general community.
