I am a provider and have no idea who they are or how I am contracted with them, but a potential client reached out and said I was in network. So I called Health Net several times, but not one person I spoke with had any idea who they worked for, what they did, or how I was contracted with them.
Can you give a negative amount of stars? As a provider, I do not want to be associated with such a corrupt and unprofessional organization any longer. I contacted the company several times to get information from 10years ago correct. No contract that I am aware of. This company is the reason that providers no longer want to accept insurance.
They will not cover anxiety medication and indicates the system is always down and can’t answer questions or assist with even basic questions because they can’t view information due to system problems
I switched to this insurance in 2022 due to a job change. I expected the cost for my Type 1 diabetic supplies to go up in price due to switching to Healthnet. But instead they refused authorization for my supplies (which regence had approved with no issues for 12 years.) and would not approve them for over a year. My doctor and myself fought with them for a year after multiple missed meetings with my doctor (on healthnet side) sending wrong fax numbers, and refusing documentation for approvals with no reason why. Always a horrible experience when trying to recieve help for my 92 year old Grand Father. They are "unable" to help regardless of how many times I've gotten voice approval via my Grand Father, which is insane. He needs help with his COPD medicine and that's just not import to this provider. Yall should be absolutely ASHAMED of the treatment of elderly and the so-called "customer service" whom are always extremely rude, snappy and impatient.
