I showed up for a ct scan with contrast and IV. I had completed their requirements of drinking 900ml of their contrast fluid. Once I got there, they were supposed to inject the iv in. The first technician came over and asked me which arm I’d prefer. I told her that I’d like it on my left arm. She failed to find a good vein on the left arm and tried to use the right with a tourniquet.
