The 3 stars are not because of the nurses. They are all wonderful and I’m thankful for each and everyone. I’ve been a patient for many years due to a chronic illness. This year, after almost a decade, I was told effective Jan 1, they’ll no longer allow patient assistance for medications. I was taking a medication and was enrolled in a program that would ship my medication from a specialty pharmacy directly to the cancer center. This made the medication free for me. I have prostate cancer and had to have 44 radiation treatments at the health first cancer institute in Melbourne. From the Dr., nurses and cancer technicians show me compassion , respect, support and professionalism. It was hard going through treatments but they make it easy and explain the treatments step by step.i one thing that stood out was their caring nature. My personal thanks to all Dennis L Peer
They lost a family members pet scan.more than once. They told us and the doctors office that they had no record of us being there.We had to actually describe the waiting room to them at their request so they knew that we were in the right place. It took intervention from two different doctors to get them to locate the PET scan which delayed medical intervention. .
