Our veterinary services include wellness and preventative care, dental care, surgical care, therapy laser and alternative veterinary therapies. I have been taking my pets to Healing Heart Veterinary for a couple years. I left for several reasons. It is hard to schedule an appointment with them. Appointments are difficult to get because they seem to only have few available. So if you work, good luck. My schedule is easy to work with. I have most hours available so this should not be such an issue but it still is. Often they do not return calls, even after talking with them and they tell you they will. After having a bad experience at a different vet, I was so eager to find a good vet for my nervous pup. I brought my dog, Aleu, here for her first visit just this past weekend and it was the best experience ever! Everyone was so calm and approachable. Dr. Deavers came in the room, immediately sat on the ground at Aleu’s level, and showered her with love and treats until Aleu was comfortable with her. Dr Deaver’s and staff have been amazing to my two babies.. Titan the Great Dane was 10 years old. He had a spinal infection, liver issues, and severe arthritis.. she treated him with compassion.. Knowing that due to his age, aggressive treatment was not the best option.. she cared for titan until we were ready to say our final goodbyes.. Dr. Deavers and her entire staff were phenomenal with our difficult kitty, Bogie! From the time we walked in, they had his room ready, lighting adjusted and a calming diffuser going. They were patient and gentle with him, and he did amazingly well! They were thorough with his treatment and with explaining our options. Without a doubt, I HIGHLY recommend Healing with Heart to anyone with fur babies in the VB area!
