I’ve had a really positive experience here. She creates a calm, welcoming environment and truly listens without judgment. Her approach feels thoughtful and practical, and I’ve gained tools that I actually use in daily life. I always leave sessions feeling heard, supported, and more confident in handling challenges. Scheduling has been easy, and she’s been flexible when needed. It’s clear she genuinely cares about her clients and their progress. Would Highly recommend this space.
A caring and compassionate therapist with a warm presence. Sonia is highly experienced, well-trained, and brings genuine empathy and insight to her work. Her educator background and ability to easily connect with clients makes her a thoughtful and skilled clinician.
Recommended to me by a family member (despite living on the West-Coast) HCC provides convenient modes of counselling (ex: In person or virtually), accommodating business hours, and staff with a wide range of expertise - perfect for my interest in Mental Health in the way of Grief, Loss, Stress and Depression after the loss of my mother. Hopefully you'll find someone to talk to here who will make you feel comfortable when you need it most, just like I did.
