I signed a year lease with Dan and paid my deposit. My son was run over in a cross walk in Denver. All of the rooms and bathrooms are upstairs. Dan is illegally keeping the deposit. I have to hire an attorney. I am doing this not because of the money. But, who refuses to return the deposit to a mother of a son in this condition. I have notarized letters from surgeons and PCP.
