Made appointment for tahoe because of a ticking noise with no check in engine light ever coming on and took 2 days before they could tell me their diagnosis of " lifter 3 dropped" and possibly cam shaft needing replacement unkown until they get into the motor with the quoted price being so outrageous. I decided to get second look elsewhere. The ticking noise was exhast leak that shop had it in and out less than a day without ticking noise running better than ever.
