Great Salon! – I found this cute salon 8 months ago and will not go anywhere else! I noticed the friendly service on my first visit as the staff seemed to really enjoy seeing their clients. There was no salon attitude that I've seen in other places and they make everyone feel welcome. As for the quality, it's the best cuts I've had in a very long time. Great Salon! – Mandy at Headlines is great!! She has many years of experience, and is a master with the blowdryer. I have a wave in my hair, and she is able to get it straight without a flatiron. Also, the owner, Cheri, is very friendly. All the ladies are nice, and the salon has a very clean atmosphere. Their selection of Aveda products is large, and Mandy was great about recommending which products would be best for my hair (but she was not pushy). Overall a great place, I would recommend it to any of my friends!
Highly Recommended! – I really had a great experience at Headlines! I am not one to write reviews but felt compelled since the staff was so great and I loved my cut & color! I have recommended the salon to several friend who loved it as well!
Skilled Staff – I have been going to Headlines for 4+ years and I have always had the best cut and highlight. I trust Cherie implicitly with my hair and wouldn't let anyone else touch it. I have always had a comfortable and warm experience while in the Salon. I wouldn't go anywhere else!
Excellent Salon – I have been going here for years and it is an excellent salon. The service is top-notch. The staff goes out of their way to accommodate you. It has a great atmosphere and I will keep coming back for more great service. I recommend this salon to anyone who wants a good experience with professional talented stylists.
Not Recommended At All!!!! – This Salon was awful I would not recommend it to anyone who wants to go in and get exactly what they want. If you do brave it and go in, take their offer of beer or wine because you will need it once it?s all over!! The customer service or lack there of was very unprofessional and impolite. This salon gives all Aveda Salons a bad rep!
Rude – Terrible customer service. I haven't gotten my hair done here but I spoke with one of the managers on the phone and she was incredibly rude and condecending. My recommendation is to try a different Aveda salon.
Fabulous Salon – I have been going to Headlines The Washington Park Salon for approximately 1 year and have had nothing but excellent customer service from everyone there. The stylists ( I have seen several different ones) always seem to listen to what I am asking for and I leave feeling very pampered. One Dirty Salon... – Aren't first impressions everything?!? The stylist was nice, but the bathroom was extremely dirty, the towel (used on me) was ripped to shreds, and I got a huge color stain on the back of my shirt (not mentioned to me while I was there but by my husband when I got home) although I received just a haircut, and the floor was all chipped and dingy. I am pretty determined not to got back. YUCK
