I visited the emergency room in Pearland HCA Houston Healthcare due to a reoccurring issue in which I was advised to return if the problem continued to exist. Dr. Damien Jackson was very rude and stood against the wall suggesting that I go to a dermatologist. I told him that the issue that I was dealing with which was previously diagnosed as Cellulitis had traveled down my leg and felt warm to the touch. He said he had other emergencies more important. I will NEVER use this place again! I have been admitted, since Friday. I have been housed in a refugee/inmate type area! I have no walls, no door, no tv, I haven’t been able to shower or bath since I’ve been here. Good thing I had sense enough to pack daily cleaning essentials. They have lied to me the entire time I’ve been here, saying they have no rooms available. Because of the lack of privacy, I can hear everything around me. I called the ER and spoke with Brad the Triage Nurse who was very kind, helpful and took time to educate me on how to address my concerns. He definitely has great service and cares like family! Thank you Brad!

The ER department is amazing. unfortunately have had to use it more than i would like and every time was great experience. The staff was super nice from the moment I walk in. The waiting room in clean. The wait time has never been more than 5 min. I think just once I waited 30 min. The technicians, nurses and doctors have always been so nice, explained everything, and always made sure we were taken care of. Today my son fell at the playground and could walk. My husband had a heart attack recently and we were thrilled with the care. ICU nurses, doctors and every person we came in contact with were excellent! He was in the hospital for 6 days and I only stayed one night as I KNEW he was safe and well taken care of.

Today we went to ER my son wasnt feeling well. The girl at the desk was very rude. She has no people skills and shouldnt be working in a hospital. People like her give good people a bad name. Dam if she was that mad she shouldnt have came to work just to be mean to kids. The kids were watching thier tablet and instead of asking politely she yells from her desk turn off that thing. I said what she repeated herself turned that off. She could of asked the children nicely to turn it down if it was too loud. They didnt understand... read more

this is the second time I been here in 6 months the kitchen personal in rude and inconsiderate. I think they forgot without patients there is no pay, if you don't like your job or you don't wanna work then don't come in. if you can't do your job like you want someone doing it for you then you have the wrong job. then again it might be the only one you can get.
