My son was admitted to the ER last February by ambulance after a full cardiac arrest. He was intubated and on a ventilator. When we arrived, about 45 minutes had passed. He must have been stabilized because no one was present with him in the room. He was lying in a pool of blood surrounded by filthy equipment. Under his stretcher was a pool of blood that was nearly dried.
