My husband donated his kidney and it's been a nightmare. No continuity of care at all. After donation the "emergency contact" he was given by the transplant coordinator was a fax number. His pain was not managed well at all and he had to ask for more pain medication twice (when we finally got a human on the phone). He has had horrible complications including infections ( that he was told was not an infection until it required a middle of night ER visit, despite him being in intense pain.) Wonderful, thoughtful and caring team! So glad to be cared for by everyone from the surgeons to the coordinators to the nurses and wonderful cleaning staff! You can rest assured you're in good hands!

Nurses, doctors, surgeons and general hospital staff were amazing for a family members process during this difficult process. We can't thank them enough.

Had rude and unreasonable standards for donations. Treated my friend like trash. Go anywhere else for care. Unless you are a mega wealthy person they will act like you are a problem. They will kick you off the list if you can't afford a special diet. Those are just some of the reasons my friends lack of care was devastating at St. Luke's. Not very Christ like I might add.
