This place don't deserve 1 star, but that was my only option. I went there Feb 2022 for headaches, nausea, lightheadedness, dizziness. The young man @ the ER put me as coming in with flu like symptoms, though that isn't what I told him or why I was there. I waited roughly 30 min to an hour, was taken back to a room with some kind of doctor, who didn't ck me out, just gave me two rx meds & sent me home. DON'T GO TO WEST MARION"S emergency care! The ambulance took my adult daughter to Marion West late Friday a couple of weeks ago. She was admitted with acute and extreme lower right quadrant abdominal pain. We were in the emergency room, mostly unattended, for 7 hours. My daughter's pain was never controlled. The only time we saw a nurse was when my husband flagged down someone in the hall. The morphine they finally gave her didn't touch her pain (no one checked back to see if it did so). Don't go here if you have Covid. They don't give you 24/7 oxygen. Only 1 chest x-ray upon admission. That's so wrong when you have pneumonia. Remove IV so you get dehydrated. Then they give you Dr. Fauci's poison protocol-Remdesivir. A killer but they make money at $3100 for that treatment. Your kidneys fail and your lungs fill up with fluid, drowning in the worst way. Now my nephew is dead but the hospital got to collect all that money because it was a Covid death. When are the medical community going to get the back... read more

I was there on 8/7/21 and the doctor made me feel like I faking it even though I knew there was pain.I see a specialist on 8/10/21 and know they will find something.

Worst experience ever. ED was okay. This used to be a good hospital. Problems started soon after I was assigned a room. Asked for a gown. Got a lecture that I should have has one. Person made problem worse. I requested the patient advocate. Received a security guard and someone claiming to be a patient advocate. Instead of just giving me a gown, this person, instead of calming the situation made it worse. Never go there. It you do, take your own pajamas. They can't afford gowns or blankets or a friendly staff anymore.

this rating is for the lab only. I was sent here from an ER where my CT scan showed ovarian cancer. W Marion was to do a paracentesis (draw fluid from abdomen} to tell #of cancer cells, the type to determine other organ involvement, etc. A VERY important test my oncologist needed to determine the type of cancer, stage it, and come up with a treatment plan asap as this is an aggressive cancer. 3.2 liters{about 7 lbs} was drawn. This is my second review of this Hospital. About 5 weeks ago my husbands Doctor said to get him to Emergency he was having a Stroke. They admitted him and the next day discharged him saying he did not have a Stroke but his Carotid artery is 70-75% clogged see a Surgeon,because he was in Emergency in the hall for 6 hrs. while Stretchers went by he picked up COVID from Emergency. My husband had a serious Stroke and was given good care by the Nursing Team but the one guy that took him for a MRI actually abused him. My husband said he put him in the Machine,did give him a Pillow for his Neck but put him into the machine so it was actually was pressing on his Nose,my husbands Body was jumping and he was screaming and pressing the call button and it was ignored by this tech.
