After only 2 weeks in the hospital, my 101 year old grandmother was released as a completely different person! She went from being able to walk around with her walker, going to the bathroom, and feeding herself all on her own... to being completely immobile... seems her muscles have atrophied, needing to keep a diaper on (does not use the toilet at all), and cannot feed herself! The WORST hospital I've ever been to. When I was 16 they refused to X-ray my arm because I could move my fingers 4weeks later I find out it was in fact a clean break and had to be rebroken and set. I thought with all the updating they've done recently maybe this time around would be better. Boy was I wrong. I went in for back and stomach pain I couldn't barely move my back was bothering me so bad. All they did was draw blood and tell me it was muscular. I didn't fill the muscle relaxers because I knew that wasn't the case. A... read more

RecommendedI just had my baby girl September 2nd at Oak Hill Hospital, and I just have to say the entire labor and delivery team/postpartum team were AMAZING!! We were hoping for a natural birth until things took a scary turn and I had to go in for an emergency c-section. I was scared and crying and every nurse was so compassionate and cheering me on the entire time! RecommendedMedical City Fort Worth and their staff was nothing short of amazing from the ER getting us right into a room to the care on the floor, to our favorites the amazing Tech Helen and sweet housekeeper that helped Chad practice his Spanish on the Neurosurgical and Spine floor. If you are local and have to go to the hospital MCFW is the place to go.
