First of all, mission health leaves me in pain for a week and a day to schedule a cortisone shot. Then they tell me I can't use uber or lyft, even though I live alone and have nobody else to help me. I have no respect for Mission Health.

On the evening of September 16, 2020 (Approximately 5:00 PM), my wife took me to Portsmouth Regional Hospital (Emergency Room) for a VERY bad case of "Fecal Impaction," HORRIBLE PAIN (9-10 Level) in rectum. Super nice, young and professional doctors (with an exceptional RN) took charge and ran every imaginable test on me (CAT Scan, Blood Work, Urine, etc). Also, gave me an IV with Morphine and Tylenol for my pain. Finally, after all tests were ran, they hooked up a solution (the "HOG") in a 1/4" tube from a 1/3rd filled IV B... read more

After I am seen I always get a letter from billing requesting my insurance information after they make a.copy and make sure it is valid. my daught has been several times they have her insurance info she always gets a big bill. she went to the er and was told she had a spot on her lung and would get a call from pulmonalology for an appointment it had not happen after over a month. they said they would all her with an appointmentin a week yea 5 weeks later no one has called. just like DMA. if you no other plan to go knock your... read more

They are very compassionate, understanding and non judgemental. The compassionate care started with security (I did not catch his name) who checks our temps at the front door, to the most understanding nurse I have dealt with (and I am in the medical field for almost 20 years) Thank you Tamara, you made my partner comfortable with made it easy for us. Palms of Pasadena saved my life in August of 2019. I had bacterial sepsis of the brain due to my kidneys and intestines having an infection and shutting down (I do have stystemic lupus). I was told within a half hour of my friend finding me on the floor of my house and getting me to this hospital, they did the appropriate blood panels and a full MRI and CTSCAN to figure out what was going on. In my paperwork it said I had less than 4-8 hours left to live. I had been unconscious in my house for three days. I was paralysed wit... read more

Omg! Please do not come here... Poorly staffed hospital. Night shift not properly managed. Terrible, just terrible. I’m talking about the one in Live Oak. 7:45 P.M. it is now 2:15 A.M. yes! Still waiting.
