My husband was admitted twice through the ER and then utilized the infusion center as well. Everyone was nice, helpful and decent response time in the ward. The ER staff was nice but it was obvious it was understaffed. As the day went on it got very busy and trying to find out "the plan" and details for my husband's care became difficult, but it appeared as if they had sufficient staff to get ins info and copay info.
This place nearly killed me, I am now in another hospital that is finally taking care of me and healing the issues and infections I retracted from trinity. My case is being seriously looked over and I hope and pray that it will open eyes to the community to be aware.
A Tale of two Hospitals... Medical Center Of Trinity... My wife went to Trinity ER at my insistance. First time was by ambulance and I met them there. Introduced myself and had a great experience. BUT... Tonight my wife goes without me, so I can sleep and go to work in morning. And here's when the other head of Medical Center of Trinity raises its ugly head. It was a little packed but my son was treated perfectly
Aside from going in on one of the busiest days of the week, my experience(s) have been nothing but amazing. They treated me like a person not some patient who has no feelings. No matter how big or how small my problem was, they were able to figure out what was wrong and handle it in the most professional way.
It was a lengthy wait during heart pain for my husband in ed. Then in ed overnight and placed in a temporary ed room in outpatient care. They took him up to a room at 6pm on fourth floor. I states an additional hour, drive the 45 minutes home and got a call he was being discharged. Not impressed with waiting hours and after tests not seeing doctor only to have nurse say he was being discharged. Still don't know why there was pain, which he is still having in left arm and in chest.
I actually went to the wound care side of Trinity they were awesome the doctor that I seen was actually so when I seen when I was in the rehab the only thing was when I got done was the cost. I was expecting to pay for a specialist but instead I had to pay for I hospital deductible which I thought was wrong other than that all the girls were wonderful in the office.
Well I have been in Trinity since 3am on the 9th of Jan!! I had to have my Gaul bladder taken out by Dr. Chisoln he was great!! Now let's talk about my Dr's n nursing staff I had Marlene Ruthie and Theresa as my Dr's and Ramon n Noel as my CNA's all of their bed side manners were just unbelievably great they all went above and beyond what their jobs called for they all truly have the COMMPATION that you just don't see to often anymore!! We just had our little princess at this hospital, they went above and beyond to make us comfortable, thank again guys !
