Dr Alvarez is the best. Had severe pain from my shoulders to my hands and down to the side of my hips. Three different medical practices told me it was carpal tunnel. I disagreed with them stating yes I have it but that wasn’t the source of the pain. I went to see Dr.Alvarez for the carpal tunnel and when he saw my MRI he scheduled cervical spine surgery within a week. He may have saved me from being paralyzed. He knows his stuff.
Dr. Alvarez is an outstanding neurosurgeon and I highly recommend him. I had back surgery in August 2024 and had no problems. He answered all my question and explained everything thoroughly. The staff was also great.

Dr Alvarez did a very delicate surgery on my spine to remove a pre-cancer growth. Which could have left me paralyzed. The hands of this wonderful surgeon took me out of the pain I had suffered for 6 month and totally removed the growth with no side effects. Three weeks after surgery am almost back to my normal self.
