I had x-rays done because I thought I had swallowed an object by mistake so I went to the ER After the doctors ran test on me and found nothing. My name is Paul D. My wife is Ann D. My wife experienced a ruptured aneurysm seven years ago. As a result, she had two very large strokes. Huge thank you for the successful surgery to you Doctor Mitchel and your team. Just before the surgery, you explained everything and made me calm and confident. You spoke with my husband right after the surgery and also spoke with me before I left the surgery center which meant everything to me. I think that I am the luckiest girl to had you as a surgeon and to come to the Norman Parathyroid Center.
I unfortunately am sitting here at Fawcett hospital for emergency surgery they had to perform 2am on ruptured intentents, Saturday morning 11-09-2024. As most sifts have been good. I now into a shift where no one appears competent to do the simplest of job. I've been waiting over 2 hrs now for an IV that ran out. This one is for pain. I like that fact that's it was close but what good is close if half the staff don't know what they're doing??? Next time if ever needed, I'm headed to Sarasota!!!
I work for HCA and I will never come back to this emergency room. I went in on 10/25/24. At first it was good, I was taken back and triaged, iv in and test ordered in a good amount of time. However, once I was in a gown and IV in, my clothes and shoes were put in a bag put on my lap and I was taken back to the lobby. The ER was not busy as this was only 4pm on a Friday afternoon. WORST HOSPITAL EVER! A month ago, I was taken there by fire rescue/ambulance who told emergency admissions that I had fallen . NO ONE THOUGHT TO ASK ME AS TO WHY I WAS THERE i.e. a blockage in peeing AND pooing . During the 2 weeks there I asked every attending physician IF they knew why I was there , not one knew why ! after a car accident .went to Wesley hospital for treatment instead received wrong diagnostic that has caused me irreversible Damage .and wrong diagnostic by saying I put ear drops in my eyes!!!! When I went to the hospital, the receptionist told me that they contacted my insurance and, because they are a hospital, the bills are higher than most of other places. She said that they did not receive an answer about how much the ultrasound will cost, but they received an answer for the Xray.
