Just okay The building is in extremely poor condition from inside and outside. The layout of the salon is also very poorly done. The interior is dirty and falling to pieces. There is not just zero, but negative ambience. If anybody is looking for a salon that is aesthetically pleasing this is not the place to go. Randy Battle- Great Stylist I recently became a customer of Haywood's Hair Images because of Stylist- Randy Battle. He is so into the customer service side of the business. He takes really good care of everyone who enters the doors. I have very coarse natural hair and Randy whipped me into a healthy head of hair. I love the atmosphere and the building is not old but classic. You feel at home with stylist upstairs and downstairs. They have 2 restrooms and I love the location downtown. Haywoods Hair Images, needs immediate improvement I agree that the salon is in very poor condition. The paint is chipping from the walls, the floors are extremely dirty, and there is only one restroom on the first floor that is never clean. I recently took my business elsewhere, due to one of the stylists lack of professionalism. She never came to our scheduled appointments on time, and she would share unprofessional stories about her struggles that she had with using drugs in front of customers. Great Salon! I have been a customer at Haywoods for over 3 years and yes the prices are high but you get what you pay for. I would continue to enjoy my service at this salon not matter how much they charge. The building is an older building in Historic Downtown so what else would you expect. Banging Hairstyles! My daughter and I both go to this salon...Its awesome! They do great hair and yes the shop isnt in the greatest of conditions however I have been in worst...I personally dont think it looks bad...What difference does it make what the shop LOOKS LIKE... those guys can do all the latest hairstyles and I am very picky about who does my hair...Trust, these guys can do some hair...I travel all the way from VA beach...You're not trying to live there!
Wouldn't go anywhere else!!!! I've been going to Haywoods for years. I'm very pleased with my hair. I get many compliments. I can't really speak about all the stylist that is in the shop, because I only go to Haywood. But, I can say that the atmosphere is great. The shop is in a older building, so what. I wouldn't go anywhere else.
Hair Do, not Hair Who My daughter just call me crying and balling very loudly because she had just got her hair done at Haywoodâs Hair Image located in downtown Richmond. She felt very angry that the person, I will just T for short did not listen to his customer (my daughter), instead, he hard-pressed what he thought was right for the customer yet, my daughter was very, very dissatisfied with the results.
