The pulled pork was good. It was not overwhelmed with liquid smoke. I tried their house sauce and then the South Carolina sauce. The house sauce was to sweet. The SC sauce is a vinegar based sauce. I think it was to watery. The waiter was just ok. I would go back again.

Great food and awesome service. Had the chopped pork with baked beans and campfire potatoes and it was delicious. Glad we stopped in.
Super yummy. Atmosphere and sevice as expected and above, especially since we showed up at the tail end of the lunch rush! My slightly snobby when it comes to BBQ hubby loved it too! So glad we came back up to Waynesville to check it out before heading back to Charlotte!
Perhaps the hardest thing for any smokehouse to get right is beef brisket. Haywood's ranks among the best I've ever tasted, it melted in my mouth. Congratulations! Our server Angela was fantastic, if you go to eat in ask for her, she'll treat you right.
This was our second time at Haywood Smokehouse. The first was 12 days before and we placed a take out order. The service is awesome. The person taking the order was so helpful. We ended up with the perfect family meal. We got a pound of brisket and half pound of chicken with sides for our family of 5 (kids are 10 and under) and everyone was completely satisfied.
