My Grandpa use to help run this place 50 years ago- they called him “Red” The burgers with onions were awesome! Loved the atmosphere- neat experience and good food!
My dad “Red” ran Hayes over 50 years ago and it’s still the way I remembered it as a little girl...sitting there yesterday I could see my dad back behind that counter wonderful food and wonderful memories!!!

HAYES is like Dixon's, Arthur Bryants BBQ, EL Sombero, Anthony's Italian and Red Lobster places I get cravings for and have to go to at least once a month
I paid for a TRIPLE chilicheese burger and they gave me a single patty. Not only that, they charge $2.00 for the smallest portion of fries possible. The worst part is they think they're unique for only taking cash for "over 60 years". NO one gives a shit about that and all it does make it an inconvenience to the customer who's ordering from this grease smelling crack house-looking establishment.
