Like most, I never dreamed that I would be in a position to need a divorce attorney, but found myself in just such a position after my (now ex) husband filed for divorce. Divorce is brutal - emotionally, physically and financially. It turns your world upside down and it's difficult to find a path forward. Thankfully, a fellow church member recommended HBWV, where I found an expert advocate, Brian Tackett. Brian is everything I wanted and needed in an attorney. He was honest about the process and the potential costs associated with various options; practical and candid as new and unexpected situations arose; and I ALWAYS felt that he was my advocate. Truthfully, he still is my advocate, because, sadly, especially where kids are involved, one will continue to need a strong attorney for years beyond the finalization of the initial divorce decree. His experience is evident. He knows the ins and outs of all legal issues related to divorce and custody, and he truly cares for his clients and their families. I would imagine that he has quite a case load, but I have never once felt that I was less important than any other client. He and his amazing paralegal, Pam Snavely, are incredibly compassionate and simply wonderful to work with. If you are in a place where you are in need of a divorce attorney, look no further; hire Brian Tackett to represent you. He's worth every penny.

I feel truly blessed to have found Colby Berry at the precipice of my very volatile and emotionally abusive divorce. Colby was a wonderful listener, patient, informative, and thorough. He really knows what he is doing. He was also not afraid to wield a sword for me in the worst battle of my life when necessary. He was like my own personal knight when I didn’t have the strength to fight, and I don’t know what I would have done without his guidance, determination, and compassion. The outcome certainly would not been as successful without him! From the bottom of my heart, thank you, my new life would not be the same without everything you did for me and my children.

This is a wonderful law firm! The situations in life that lead one to seek out the assistance of an attorney are not often pleasant, sometimes even stressful. I have met with Richard Hayes and Byron Berry, and with each found someone whom I could trust. Lance Vanzant recently handled a variance request for my mother on her Lake Ray Roberts property and was able to get approval last week from Denton County Commissioners' Court. We are very happy with the result. Mr. Vanzant's knowledge and expertise in this area of law is exceptional and I highly recommend him to anyone needing assistance in this area of law.

Diana and Byron were very understanding, compassionate and wonderful to communicate with during this very stressful time for us. The receptionist was also very kind and caring. They never made you feel anything but welcome anytime we called or stopped by. Kept us very informed via email as well. They took care of everything. Can't rate them high enough!!! 5 stars for sure!

Thomas Little: Excellent Family Divorce Attorney!!!
Thomas Little did an awesome job in representing me in the recent, painful, emotional divorce of 24.5 years of marriage which involved separation, divorce, child custody and child support. It was a ten month long, agonizing, difficult divorce process, due to the difficulties/complications involved, but Thomas made it so calm and peaceful for me and my children. Thomas put up a good, hard fight, so my ex-husband had to fire his first attorney, and had to get a second attorney. Throughout the entire difficult divorce process, Thomas was very supportive of me, even when I was overwhelmed, or when I did not know lot of answers for the case. Thomas is so easy to talk to and is a very good listener! Remember in any legal proceedings communication is key! Thomas and his paralegal assistant Sharron always communicated quickly, and did everything for me, in a timely manner, even while I was working without taking much time off from work. Sharron was great in preparing the necessary paperwork, and guiding me what to do per Thomas's directions.
Bottom line: If anyone needing a confident, efficient, strong, hard working, down to earth attorney, hire Thomas Edward Little! I highly recommend him for women or men alike. He will represent you well, and get the job done right for you! Thank you so very much Thomas, for helping me with this difficult divorce!! You made me STRONG, and CONFIDENT!!! Thank you!!!
