We arrive for an emergency visit and it was shift change. We were rushed and my dog wasn't even examined. The doctor gave us a guess at what it was and said without video proof there isn't much more he could say and sent us on our way with medicine. The only good thing that came of it was that we were given meds to try and my regular vet could get me in the next day to go over what all the medicine is and does and got us a consult with U of I, when Hawthorne said they would call places in STL for a consult and I never heard ... read more
They are horrible. They will over charge you and charge you 400 just to walk in the door if it's an emergency. I was told that they charged me, just for me for my dog to come in. On top of 500 more dollars just to see the doctor. When I tried to ask questions, I was talked to disrespectful and hung up on. Horrible horrible place
