RecommendedI have been a patient at Hawthorne Animal Clinic since 2007, with 3 different dogs. I have always received excellent care from the vet's, and the administrative staff has always been very helpful, kind and very courteous. On 10/16/20, I had to have my last pup sent off to heaven. Every member of the staff was extremely kind and understanding. Losing a beloved, 16 year old pet is very emotional. The entire staff at Hawthorne was very comforting. I highly recommend this veterinary clinic.
The doctor told me that my dog that was in pain wasn't a medical emergency, then when i brought her in she didn't solve the problem. Plus slapped my dog on the head for trying to get up when they were holding her down. Really she had no idea what she was talking about and when asked questions said, "I don't know".
Dr. Lonna and her crew are relentless when it comes to helping your animal no matter what or what time. The best!!! 🐕🐩🐈🐎🐑🐄🐂
I will not take my animals anywhere else, ever. The staff is absolutely amazing! Through spay, neutering, and all the emergency inbetween this is my go to place.
Older female vet is very rude. Doesn’t greet you or introduce herself. First time in and she started with “so is this the one with the tumor or what?” When I took my dog to get spayed, after I put my dog on the table I was trying to set all of my stuff down. I had my phone in my hand for maybe 3 seconds to turn the ringer off and she said “put your phone down and hold your dog.” Extremely rude and doesn’t listen to my concerns. It breaks my heart to say this because we have gone to Hawthorne for years and love Dr Gerstner. We took my dog to two different vets at Hawthorne Animal Hospital about 10 months ago and again 6 months ago regarding a growth on his jaw. They both said it was completely normal and not to worry about it. We thought we must just be over reacting. We finally took him to another clinic today as it has continued to grow. They have been excellent to and helpful and understanding.
Thank you for taking care of my sky (paint horse). He thought the pasture was greener on the other side escaping my neighbors pasture and became the missing horse of the neighborhood. Apon arrival of picking him up.. I can definitely see he was spoiled. Had some good feed and GRAIN :)) I thought the worse but am so thankful to Hawthorne. :))))))
I had my dogs surgery done here and they were awesome.
