Hawn freeway auto salvage should be shut down I purchased an engine from them in June of 2018 pay $2500 for it . When the engine came it was rusted out and my mechanic could not turn it over called Hawn freeway out all savage and alls they would do is hang up on me.or say I speak no English. We needed an engine for an older truck. Hawn FAS was the only one that had an engine, so we ordered it and had it shipped to San Luis Obispo, CA. When it got here we realized that the engine had sat outside and had mud and water in the cylinders. Hawn's first tactic was to not call us back despite repeated calls to them. When we finally got ahold of someone, they promised to get us another engine. When the engine did not arrive as promised we again went through a week of unreturned calls. Very bad service. Ordered a transmission on a Tuesday and they immediately charged my credit card. I did not receive by Friday so I called to inquire about where it was. They replied that the shipping department would return my call. Called a second time on Friday and they replied the same but never called. Called again following Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday. HORRIBLE SAID INSURANCE QUALITY NOT SO DO NOT RECOMMEND AT ALL USE ME AS AN EXAMPLE OF A BAD CHOICE AND SAVE YOUR HARD EARNED MONEY BUY SOMEWHERE ELSE

Not honest about quality of item, no customer service.
