i went thru booking.com and reserved a room ( I thought) for Hawks Nest Lodge in WV...got to WV and they said I had no reservations..I gave her my confirmation number with phone number..the front desk called .. it was a number for Hawks Nest in Maine not WV...Hawks Nest Maine told the front desk she was 99 % sure they would refund the 151 dollars but to call the manager in Maine back..I did and she left me a message that said no cancellations and no refund would be issued..i showed up in Hawks Nest WV with no room and. had t... read more

Absolutely love this place gone on several whitewater rafting trip and always stop by here great atmosphere and great service make you feel at home!!
Atmosphere is great...Food is OK but not great.. Avoid steak...Could be a disappointment..
Directly off ITS 86 - the trail goes through the property. Great food; great staff and a perfect layover for a night or two.
