I recently read a review of Hawkins Law on Indeed by the former office manager. It was stated that Phil is rarely present in the office and that made her job very stressful. I can verify that this is true. I was forced into bankruptcy after hiring Phil Hawkins to represent me. The day of my final bankruptcy hearing, Phil Hawkins was waiting across the street in his black 4wd Ford Raptor and pulled out of the driveway onto the street in front of the Federal Building while I hobbled down the steps. I have had a few attorneys over the years and after living my life under the incompetent thumb of Phil Hawkins for 2 years, I will never hire another attorney again. Ten months into my injury, I had to get and pay for my own surgery. Never any weekly pay. Does not read documents before giving them to you to sign. Everything lost in the mail both ways. Staff incompetent. The insurance companies run all over him and settlements are near nothing. Said I had a "good" chance at a favorable outcome. I had one knee surgery. Then wh... read more
