Hawg Wild offers a smoked boston butt (vinegar and sweet sauce) and beef brisket that are chopped along with smoked chicken and Saint Louis Ribs. The standards of slaw, fries, baked beans and hushpuppies come along on the side. We also offer burgers, hot dogs, salads, trout, grilled chicken and many other sides to appeal to all tastes in a comfortable down home environment. RecommendedIt was a good place to eat .
Our food was cold and the flavor was ok. The Mac and cheese you had to pay extra money for as a side. I love Mac and cheese and normally places that charge extra for it it’s because it’s good homemade Mac and cheese. Really disheartened when I opened it up and it was blue box Mac and cheese and it was cold also.

We stopped in after hiking some of the trails. Love the vinegar pulled pork and the brisket was delish! Tried fried corn nuggets for the first time and they were great! Great place to eat before heading back on the road to home....
Love their food AND drink options. The sides are to die for, staff is welcoming and efficient- what more can you ask for?? Perfect lunch spot before or after heading into Pisgah!
Best BBQ in the Southeast! I absolutely recommend this place to anyone. If there is a long wait, it's worth the wait. This is a place where we came in as strangers and left feeling like family! Such great food!
Ordered food for take out, was told to return in 20 minutes. I came back in 25 minutes, they took my money and told me to pull up because it wasn't ready yet. I pulled up and waited another 15 minutes before I flagged down a waitress who was taking food out to another car. She said mine was coming right up. 15 minutes later I finally went inside and they looked at me like I was stupid.
