Hawg Wild offers a smoked boston butt (vinegar and sweet sauce) and beef brisket that are chopped along with smoked chicken and Saint Louis Ribs. The standards of slaw, fries, baked beans and hushpuppies come along on the side. We also offer burgers, hot dogs, salads, trout, grilled chicken and many other sides to appeal to all tastes in a comfortable down home environment. the bun on my barbecue sandwich was hard as a rock they was not very much meat on my sandwich I'm not going there again
I waited more than ten minutes and a server never even took my drink order. It wasn't even that busy and I saw lots of servers walking around. I'm disappointed because I've heard how great the good is, but if the service is non-existent, then it really doesn't matter how the food tastes, does it?
RecommendedThis is such a great place for families when wanting BBQ. It’s just outside of Sliding Rock and it never disappoints. Staff is great as well.

Best Bar-B-Que we have ever tasted. We are from the south and have tasted our share lol
Was wonderful first time being there however our waitress was very rude. My step dad asked her a question while she was pouring tea she stopped pouring the tea and rolled her eyes and answered his question.
Good food, excellent service, and at a reasonable price. The ribs were fall off the bone and the smoked chicken breast was tender and juicy. The western bbq was super. Loved the coleslaw as well. The hush puppies were out of this world and the blackberry cobbler was over the top. I would highly recommend checking them out if you’re in the area.
