In a very painful and devastating time, the people at Haven Hospice were God sent. They treated my mom with such love and compassion in her final days I couldn't have asked for any better people to take care of her.
They took good care of my dad, love the place, thank you haven hospice :-)

I moved my mom to Haven on Saturday, August 29th. My mom passed away on September 2nd. She never had a second of pain, worry, or fright. I have never met a more caring group of people in my life. I was coming unglued and they knew it and took the time to talk to me. Moving my mom here was the best decision I ever made for her. I only wish that I had done it sooner. Worst experience ever, i live too rural for anyone to wanna come care for a veteran. Its too inconvenient and getting medication or equipment set up was a 10 day process, thank god already had equipment from the V.A as there was no real sense of urgency from haven. Tried over and over to give chance after chance..got one escuse after another, hoped and prayed after we finally got it set up it would level out...not a chance. So appreciative for their care of my mother! They provided comfort and care in her home, including bringing medical equipment and overseeing pain management. They helped to improve her quality of life. She went into the care center for temporary treatment, but went into rapid decline due to her weakening heart. The nurses and staff were so compassionate and knowledgeable. They provided her ease in her last days and hours, and were compassionate and comforting to us during our grief. So thankful for Haven Hospice!
