4 years ago I let this shop handle my 1971 Les Paul, which was the mistake of a lifetime. The techs immediately took an abrasive polishing paste to all of the exposed gold surfaces and stripped 40 years of precious gold filigree off a pair of damn near irreplaceable 1971 PAFs and the stoptail. They're stripped down to bare nickel. I've opened the case 4 times since then and wept openly.
