Hauer Music was my very first music store, in my home town of Centerville, Ohio. Just seeing the Hauer Music sign brought back memories of violin tuners, the smell of sticky bow rosin and my first music class. I teach music now in Vail, Colorado and share the excitement of music with kids who will have their own special memories. It’s nice to know it all started with you nice folks. Keep the music alive! The water key on my Shires trombone snapped in the middle of a heavy work week, and Gary was able to fix it on really short notice. He did a fantastic job, and I'm super happy with the work. As a pro player, I totally rely on having working equipment, and Gary is the only person in the region I'd trust with my horns. Thank you for the great repair!
I hadn't been able to achieve to sound I wanted out of my old snare drum. I'd tuned it several times but had come to the conclusion that it was time for a new one. As a final attempt, I brought it in to see if it could be revived. Some new heads & fine tuning was just what it needed. Thank you Bill Hauer, it sounds great & the neighbors love it. �
