We love buying Japanese food and other products in here! We love anime and kawaii stuff so Hatoya Mart is the place to be for me and hubby!
I have been searching for a Japanese only food mart. Didn't realize Hatoya Mart has been in existence since 1992. They have fresh produce, frozen and refrigerated food, and regular packaged food like candy, ramen, noodles, etc. It was a dream to find fresh gobo, frozen korokke, and preseasoned inari skins. A dream come true. My only wish is that they move to or open a second store in University City.

Love Hatoya! They are always friendly! Bilingual and always answer my questions! Love that they now carry a huge selection of Japanese beer and Sake!!
