I got a delivery of a rainbow roll (description said it was crab, not krab or “imitation crab” but that’s what it was), edamame, negima kushiyaka, and nigiri toro, salmon, yellowtail and eel. All completely mediocre. And the edamame was over steamed and soggy. And the chicken was over cooked. Almost $100. Going to sugarfish next time; I keep trying other places just for some variety but okay, I give in. Learned my lesson.
So fun during World Cup, very good sushi
Very delicious sushi! Garlic edamame has great flavor, that sauce is addictive. Also started with the Toro garlic toast, that toro was melt in your mouth. It was very delicious but I think I would have enjoyed it more if it was on crispy rice. The rolls were great, but what was fantastic was the Hato rice hot stone rice pot. Flavors were unlike anything I have tasted, umami and rich. Definitely a must try!
I had such a lovely time at this restaurant. The garlic green beans are marvelous, the sushi was great and the server was so kind
